From http://www.sparkpeople.com, a core toning workout with our own Coach Nicole! This video takes you through an unconventional core routine using mostly standing exercises. This short (7-minute) workout will help you tone your abdominals, obliques, and lower back without any crunches or any equipment! For a longer workout, simply repeat the video.

This workout is part of SparkPeople's 7-Day Swimsuit Bootcamp Program (Day 4 of 7). Join the fun (it's free!) here:

  • How many sets and reps does this equal to (so I can track them accurately)? Thanks.

  • Varies for each exercise, but should be appox 10 (no more than 15) per exercise.

  • When you say pull in your abs,i get confused.

Do you mean like suck in our stomach?

    Someone pleas reply!

    =] Thanks.

    Love these vids!

  • Yes, that's what it means. Engaging your abs, pulling them in, etc--it means pulling your belly button in toward your back, which contracts the abs.

  • i love that this is free because people should not have to pay to stay healthy:) I like having motivation or else I can't control my diet. exercising is easy though.ahh this bootcamp doesn't work unless you also change your diet, though! so eat healthier, guys!

  • Even those of us needing to lose LOTS of weight can EASILY do this one!!

  • love it love it love it

  • Excersise, in combination with healthy eating, is a great lifestyle change. Never think of it as "dieting" because diets are temporary, and never believe that common misconception of muscle weighing more than fat - They weigh the same! Muscle only takes up less space!

  • i was wondering if these workouts will burn fat or build muscle? i really need to burn fat first. so which is it if anyone knows?

    thanks...

  • if i tried 100% as much as you did, how much calories would i be lossing?

  • ok well i just did day 1-4 in one day and it feels good (i did day one without any trouble, wasnt to tired so i tried day 2 and got addicted lol) thanks for these videos
