@htdmc2010 He's pointing out the link between CBS ( one of the companies pushing this legislation ) & the file sharing programs. They made it available & promoted it's use as copyright infringing software, knowingly & openly. The links in the description dive further into the topic. Also i think they had made alot of money through Itunes (Music) in the past years so what use does it have to go even further? They make alot of money and it is all bullshit that through Piracy they lose alot of Money i don`t believe in that there are still alot of people buying Music and Movies. The companys are just loosing theyr reputation through this kind of stuff

He has a point but filesharing programms are generally not illegal and distributing them as a software on their sites is nothing unusual since as he says himself hey want to compete with other sites. I dunno what exactly is going on in the US but they really should make most of the older Video stuff available for free over streaming or video sites like Youtube since alot of them are shown through TV anyways and if someone wants to buy them that person is free to do so.
