I believe him. When my dad was a patrolman in New Orleans, he saw a UFO. I saw a UFO when I was in Coney Island, Brooklyn. It has been told to me that a relative was abducted. I don't want to reveal until THEY are ready to come out with it on their terms.

I have just looked this up and apparently Schirmer took and passed a lie-detector (polygraph) test. That's good enough for me. Schirmer was telling the truth. He had an experience which was at least real to him, notwithstanding that this experience was the nadir of absurdity, bonkers; aliens that speak English, that look like humans (judging from the sketches), whose spacecraft mirrors our technology (even 70s technology) with its switches, buttons and screens... What are we to make of it?

There is a lot of waffle with not much being said about the actual expereince, which is really all that is of interest. There is a lot of levity, a lot of irrelevant stories about people's banal comments and so on. You keep wanting to say to him, 'Get on with it'. When he does get on wtih it, there's not much of substance and no real sense of awe, no attempt to struggle with words in order to convey this utterly otherworldly experience.

He said he got back to the police station around 3 AM. Of course by this time he's way late coming home to his wife. He was probably messing around with another woman and had to come up with a story to tell his wife. He came up with a UFO story and stuck with it. Marriage saved but with the price of crazy stink in which everyone in Ashland smelled for the rest of his life.

i kinda do think that good beings would work for the draco ...if they were good they would not agree with what the draco do therefore they would not work with them..just as the good aliens who told us to stop biulding nuclear bombs,stop destroying the earth...we said no and they said seeya...

I thought during the speech he said it was a green light that enveloped the car not a green gas also he said the alien came out with two objects in his hands but during hypnosis he said he pulled the object from a holster. Hmmm...

to me one of the authentics cases ever happened. of all liers and important self maker, this guy stands for his own story and this case is one of the few realistic ones with one important signature. not all races that "work" for the dracos are evil. so schirmer had never left the craft uninjured.
