Last race of the official season, first race for me! When I started iRacing two weeks ago I was concerned that I would only be a mobile hazard to other drivers, so avoided public racing until now. After today I'm looking forward to running a full season! A very happy 2nd place at Lanier has improved my outlook of the sim. I would have been content with 4th place, as would have been the case if not for a couple of incidents which put out two cars ahead of me. Thanks to everyone on the track that day. It was an awesome experience

  • @signalbox06 oval i just barely did my first road practice the other day. im thinking about maby getting some stuff for it.

  • @marki61422 Yeah, that Ford is a nightmare to drive :) It's important to enter the corners as wide as possible, ride the curve without too much acceleration, then gradually give it the gas as you enter the home straightaway. Keeping the front wheels pointed in the right direction and being careful on the accelerator is the key, I found, but I can't remember the correct cornering speed. It's a science :)

  • how do you race fast at laniers with the ford coupe,,you looked so smooth,,no understeer, whats your secret for the corners?
