This a short video of a bike lift table I made a few years ago. I'm getting too old to crawl around on my knees when working on my bikes. I had an old truck liftgate 12 VDC power unit I saved from the scrap pile, bought some rectangular tubing, flat bar, and various odds & ends, and fired up the welder and went at it. It doesn't show it in this video, but I had to add another cylinder to get it to lift my heavy old Honda Goldwing up, but now it works very well. It's nice to be able to lift thing up to a comfortable height!

  • hey what gauges steel u use and wall thickness? was it all square tubing besides the base

  • @jettastreetracer .120 wall 1.5" x 3" wall ret. tubing for everything.

  • do you have the plans for this anywhere.

I know I could scratch one up, but its always easier just to run off a plan that works already.

  • @simsghost Sorry, no plans. I just made some general sketches for layout.

  • what length etc is the ram you used?

well done on the lift too.

  • @wil5os Thanks, I ended using two 2" bore x 12" stroke cylinders
