I am a huge Hurricanes fan, but I must say, I have always loved Scott Stevens. With the new NHL today, Hockey will never be the same.
-
Kind of funny that Stevens got that huge hit off and the Canes got the penalty.

The game will never be the same

Stevens!
What a player....
-
@NJCUCRS neither, actually...i just hate how 90% of of his hits were landed a good 2+ seconds after his opponent lost the puck and wasn't even looking or a factor in the play (see: Paul Kariya)
-
@dalundey "notoriously" cheap?
On what planet? So are you a Flyers or Red Wings fan? One of the cleanest hitters to play the game.
-
i hate stevens, notoriously cheap hitter, but this was actually clean, i hate to admit
-
THAT WAS NOT A PENALTY BUNCH OF PUSSY BULL SHIT !!! TAKE THE TAMPONS OUT OF UR ASS WHOLES or ELSE GO RUN CROSS COUNTRY!!!!
-
out my kitchen!
-
look how far his stick flew after the hit!
That was TOTALLY a clean hit. You people saying "Stevens meant to hurt him" have no clue. Stevens was a natural hard hitter. Willis had his head down as he went in to Stevens' territory. It was HIS fault, and the entire reason he was bleeding. Stevens was a CLEAN player (listen, idiots...only 4 elbowing minors by 00-01). There's not a defenseman as intimidating as him in the NHL today.

hockey is a contact sport, he is not a dirty player he is just the best when it comes to the contact aspect of the sport.
