  • If reducing stress just isn't an option is there a product that actually works to help reduce cortisol levels?

  • Oooo, tough. Reducing stress must be an option. It can be as simple as a full minute of meditation, several times a day. Or scheduling time to yourself, even if it's only an hour a week. Try meditation-like music on an iPod, while you're doing normal stuff - something that sets up a relaxing environment AND releasing your mind from the mind-chatter and living in the moment, even briefly. Exercise helps, as long as you supplement and eat well. Find ways, carve out time, YOU'RE WORTH IT! :)

  • it's worth mentioning that the antagonist to CRH is serotonin. by ensuring you maintain high levels of serotonin you will reduce the cortisol response.

also by increasing insulin sensitivity your body can use less and that will translate to lowering cortisol response.

eat lots of fibre and green leafy vegies. these will help keep your system clear of interference. get 4 whole REM cycles (8 hours of sleep for most of us)

there are things you can do.

    nice work chelle!
