@banditgsfr No, you need a lisence. It's the best thing in the world to get though. Just my 0.02p ;)

It seems like winter flying would be safer because there is less wind? Is that true?

I mounted 4 cameras on the trike and used a rotary switch to change which feed was recorded by the recorder. Pretty simple, though. I also watched your videos. Very nice!

I like the way you change the camera angle occasionally. Love the nose cam. You must have gone to some trouble to mount the camera from the nose to show the pod moving like that. Great idea.

can you do this in The UK with out a license.
-
very good.

I fly in the winter here in Illinois also. It's great fun as you know. Thanks for sharing your video work....nicely done!

...You forgot to mention the part about freezing your nads off!
Nice vid though.

Congratulations !!!
Beautiful video. I'm a trike pilot myself here in South Florida and I'd love to fly over mountains !!!
I used to when I was hangliding in Venezuela...
Take care and happy flying,
Carlos.
awsome video...do you need a pilots lisence to fly one of those?

It depends on the type of trike you fly. If you want to fly one just like the one on the video, yes, you need a Sport Pilot license. If you intend to fly an ultralight (under 254 lbs, and one occupant only) no. Its not hard to get the license. Only 20 hours of flight instruction needed.

Hey Sam great vid. Must have been one hell of a flight. You took off in winter and landed in summer LOL. Cheers Kerry

Well, I ran out of tape during that flight and missed the landing, so I had to cut and paste from another flight. But trust me, the landing was just like that one, only with snow on the ground.
