This was just one advertising agency's way of drawing attention to the Mini. Obviously they're dealing with stereotypes. I think it worked brilliantly.

Bullshit. it's all marketing. The bmw "MINI" is about as british as apple pie. they're just use all the things that made the real mini stand out to sell this one even though it is completely incomparable to the classic mini. In saying that i still think these are decent cars, they just aren't fuckin Minis! or British!
