Bad shaves in the fields when serving sounds familiar. I had to shave in the field but the blade didnt even want to cut hairs off.. It just jammed and it hurt like hell!

@stefanr00 Yep that is why I switched to a single blade, I can have 5 days growth and it cuts right through, the double, triple blades rip my face off

you call that a knife?

i always shave with a electric lawn mower for a razor.

i use a weed cutter as my travel kit choice of razor.

don't forget to sand grind you face pre-shave, this will get rid of all the dead skin.

i mean all the skin.

broken glass and liquid abrasive with bleach often make a great lather.

however if you are truly manly you use battery acid as you after shave balm.
