For this Merdeka, Living in Harmony is the theme of a One Malaysia song composed and sung by kids. The soundtracks lyrics focus on One Voice, One Nation, One Malaysia and We love Malaysia just like how first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman had envisioned. The trio singers are twin sisters, K. Rashmika and K. Raanita aged 14, and V. Vishal, 18 music major student who composed the song.

Happy to see that young people take an interest in shaping the political land-scape of thier very own nation. However, I believe it takes more than just a theme (1Malaysia) to create sense of unity. Look at East Germany. That said, I think this is a start. Good luck with your song. Maybe there is a career for you in singing anyway!

Nice song. Good luck on such expressions of love and unity getting the country closer to such ideals. We've had at least 30 years of such songs (from "Muhibbah" when I was in primary school) but the country has become more racist than ever. The government talks unity with one side of its mouth and sows discord with the other. 1Malaysia is just a ploy by Najib to distract people from the real issues.
