Austrian diplomat Valentin Inzko has been named as the new United Nations High Representative to Bosnia. Inzko was the European Union's candidate for the job,but his appointment was delayed after the United States lobbied for someone who would take a harder line with Serbia. The appointment comes amidst rising tensions between the Muslim-Croat federation and the Bosnian Serb Republic, which have caused the UN to extend its mandate over Bosnia-Herzegovina. Meanwhile Bosnian Serb Prime Minister Milorad Dodik has been accused of embezzling over 70 million Euros of public funds,a charge that Dodik claims is politically motivated.

  • there is a silent war in bosnia, one day it may not be silent, international help is an imperative

  • .....about this region, it's people and culture!

No wonder, they think we are all one and the same, when they know nothing about us! To them most Ester Europeans are the same, I imagine! When do we mix Irish and English, or mangle English names like he did with "Dodich"!

So, WHO is ignorant, uninformed and primitive?

And, finally, that "bidge of harmony" is the bridge from which Turks used to HANG Franciscan friars, of course Bosnian muslims had no objections!

    "Peace" LOL

  • Bosnia Herzegovina should fall apart peacfully.3 nations all get their territory and that's it.

  • so is bosnia herzegvia will be divided in 2. one side bosnia other side herzegovina

  • But whats with the problems against the will of the people. Republika Sprska, is an identity. Which has its own policy, its own constitution. Its own economic agende with Serbia. Its own anthem. Its own police, Its own Army.

And it consist of Serbian people, 98% of the people want indepence. How can Kosovo have indepence, and not republika sprska, sound like hypocrisie to me.

  • @gghostd

Dude what you thinkn to know of Ljuboten is bullshit anyway, why should i ask anyone. We all know that the UCK lied and lied and lied. Macedonia was beeing easy on those guys at first to not create another Kosovo. But when the violence got the bad the army reactied just as any army would. UCK tried to lie to victory.

  • @gghostd

Dude your insane, TITO. The area in eastern bosnia, has forever been inhabited by Serbians. In yugoslavia they did not care beeing part of BIH, because they are in one country with the Serbs. But the Independence all of the serbs population voted against it, only the bosniaks en croats voted in favor. So Serb land was against the will of the people taken with the Bosniaks in the new state. Where to former member of Waffen SS became president backed by USA, see the irony?

  • @gghostd

Bullshit, 98% of the people of Republika Sprska dont even want to be part of the country, and want to re-unite with Serbia, How can you say they will be united. They were in war not so long ago, from the beginning of independent BIH they were against it. And are beeing occupied.

Hold a referendum now, and republika sprska will declare indepence, or are you afraid of referendum.

Republika sprska is like Northern Ireland, only with a bigger percentage wanting indepence 2 different people

  • @slovenskimakedonac I see a one united Ireland, Northern Ireland does not exist. This is beside the point, there is no such thing as the Republika Srpska in reality, it is an entity that is fast running out of steam. Soon Bosnia will be a united entity, because the people will choose it to be so.

  • @slovenskimakedonac I could tell you to do the same, you seem to know jack about what we are talking about. Why not go and ask your parents about what happened in Ljuboten

  • @slovenskimakedonac The land you propose as originally belonging to Serbia that is now a part of eastern Bosnia was NEVER a part of Serbia. The boundaries that we have between the countries of the former Yugoslavia were like that pre-Tito. The only thing that Tito did was to encourage the mixing of ethnic peoples inside the different republics. Yet again, it shows that you don't know what you mean.

  • @gghostd

But again i dont see what this has to do with Republika Sprska wanting to be independent, which is theyre own right, the right of self-determination. But hey wat does a Brit know about that considering the autrocities in Northern Ireland.
