Well that really doesn't change much since the names can be changed either way. The actual part of their "fan made name" is the last name, since they could still be called "Kagamine Ren and Lin" and it would still be their official name.

"Ren" is "Len." It can be pronounced either way because in Japanese "R" and "L" make the same noise. Kinda of like the two letters were mashed together to make the same sound. So "Len" could be pronounced as "Ren," and "Rin" could be pronounced as "Lin."
