Actually 花嫁 belong to a difference group, はしだのりひことクライマックス, (Hashida Norihiko & Climax). The only common member between the two group is 端田宣彦, who wrote the music for both 風 and 花嫁

None of you have got this right. This is a #1 hit in Japan back in Jan 1969. The original singer is a band called はしだのりひことクライマックス. Another hit by this band is called 花嫁 (新娘). Just because it is sung in another language does not mean it is theirs... No offence to Albert, he is a good singer but his Japanese is not as viable as his singing. Many Hongkongers in the 70s would have heard of this song, it was aired extensively in HK radio stations.
