Congressman Barrow on H.R. 2965, the "Enhancing Small Business Research and Innovation Act of 2009"

On July 8, 2009, Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) spoke on the House floor in favor of H.R. 2965, the "Enhancing Small Business Research and Innovation Act of 2009." The bill included one of Congressman Barrow's proposals that will help minority-owned businesses and develop partnerships between minority colleges & universities, nonprofits, and industries. H.R. 2965 passed with broad bipartisan support, 386-41.
