Terry Pratchett is a great author with novels filled with not only a stories but with LIFE...

...I can't think what my life would be like without being found by Sir Terry's books... like 'Going Postal...it was almost as if Vetinari himself was seeking to talk to me...

I think he's right. Anyone can be a writer even if you have no education or you belong to a lower class than the average writer, you can still be a professional writer. I mean, as a fanfiction writer and reader, I have to say some people who write fanfiction are very much convicted to writing them and take writing almost like a real job. And things like fanfiction does help to develop your writing skills and can help you as a budding author.

@ShroudedFury i sort of agree.. i dont think that as "humans" (whatever that means), celebrities are "better" than me.. but through what he does terry pratchett has had one of the most profound impacts on my life, almost to the same level as my friends and close family. So for that i think he is a special person, and im sure many would agree with me :)
