Its amazing that at such a young age, she commanded the stage. She was so confident. Was not selling sex like those of today do. She always dressed proper and let her voice to the selling. Some of the ladies of that time looked paranoid on stage, not Brenda.

Brenda Lee is my favourite female singer,no one else comes close! I have quite a number of her songs on their original 45rpm vinyl singles.I've listened to them literally from the moment I was born,thanks to my "old man"being a huge Brenda fan.He even wrote to her when he was a teenager,and recieved a letter back from her.I've put a lot of her songs onto CD,and blast them out on my car stereo(which is a 1966 Holden),along with my Buddy Holly recordings.Music for every millenium!!!!!

I am planning a month long trip to England, & through-out Europe with a British man I met while working @ my brothers buisiness in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA a few years back. Yep, we all want to be wanted & needed in some way. This kind of music was made back-in-the-day when the girls didn't have to preform 1/2 naked & shake their asses to get attention. All they had to have was TRUE TALLENT! Oh, for the GOOD OLD DAYS!

Patsy Cline was Brenda's Idol. Good choice. And, just to get an idea of how tough things can get, Brenda was forced to play little out of the way places with limited seating outside of Santa Fe, NM many years ago, after she had been a big, big star. Luckily, she found her way back to Nashville.
