Dit bly een van die mooiste liede wat ooit op springbok top 20 was en bring baie herrinneringe terug van die goeie ou dae van jonk wees en verief wees.

one of our favorite songs to be played Friday nights when the boys and girls of Robbies hostels came together to dance

@kobuswarricker Dis n baie interessante storie. Wat ons wil nie doen nie om die musiek te luister? Die 70'S, ja dit was WOW!!!

This is the song with my first boy friend in Africa. The song of my life forever. I love it!

I remember hating this song at that time because it unseated Mamy Blue at the top of the Springbok radio charts and which had been at the top for twelve weeks, and was my favourite at the time. I was twelve at the time!!
very nice, but is this really Peter Maffay singing or just an English version of his song "DU" sung by someone else.

Of course it's Peter Maffay. He wasn't the only German singer to make records in English. Michael Holm and Freddy Breck also had English-language hit songs in South Africa.
