Original air dates: 12/12/2004, 10pm and 12/13/2004, 5am. The Cornudas Mountain range appears as an isolated chain of 5 mountains rising from the vast, wide open desert plains about 50 miles East of El Paso Texas. However, I was always under the premonition that something mysterious could be within those mountains once explored internally. Sure enough, upon embarking upon an expedition to the interior of the chain on April 11, 2001, I simply took a final shot of one mountain of stones on my way out of the mountains around 1am under moonlight for a 60 second exposure on my film. My grandmother took a quick glimpse at my photo on my computer screen just in passing and noticed the apperance of a face popping out of the mountain. I could not really understand what she was talking about, as if she was employing some kind of ancient cultural insight, but upon rotating my normally oriented photo in the direction of 90 degrees counter clockwise, there it was, a totally and eerily pronounced face of some ancient looking man, not even a woman in this case, but a masculine facial profile of a man with unusually high definition, symmetry, and placement: cheekbone right in place, smooth transition from eyebrow to eye socket, forehead, nose, lips, cheeks, chin, the whole works in surgically precise carving of the stone, as if perhaps a UFO lifted the mountain, carved it, and put it back down on the ground like a toy? Since this was initially broadcasted on the local NBC affiliate KTSM-TV 9 in December of 2004, it was then distributed by United Feature Syndicate, Inc. (300 Madison Ave., New York) as a Ripley's Believe It or Not Comic Strip, appearing in national comics sections on Sunday December 11, 2005. Feel free to leave your comments, email, or voicemail!!! Very best regards, Chris L. Grohusko, El Paso Texas
