Store Robbed with Gun (Police Radio)

At 12:30 AM on December 16, 2007, the Factoria Rite Aid (Pharmacy / Drugstore) was robbed at gun point in Bellevue, Washington (in the United States of America). After displaying a realistic fake gun, the suspect used a "poorly written" note, according to BPD, to say he wanted the addictive prescription pain medicine, OxyContin. Employees called 911 after the man left and officers responded quickly. They located a potential suspect at the near the Brown Bear Carwash across the street and tried confronting the man, but he took off. They chased him on foot up toward the T-Mobile and "tackled him". The suspect tried to ditch the stolen goods, but units recovered all of it along with the apparent weapon, which was really an air pistol. "The suspect was . . . booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of first-degree armed robbery. The case was referred to the King County Prosecutor" (BPD News Release: Police catch suspect in prescription drug theft). The specific location of this is at 4100 Factoria Blvd SE. A total of 15 officers responded to this call.

Personal Note: KOMO 4 purchased this footage from me, but when they broadcasted it, they did not get all the details right. For example, K9 never came into the area (before the suspect was already in custody). Another thing, Bellevue Police, as always, did a great job! Extremely professional. And contrary to what some of you may thing watching my videos, crime in Bellevue is very low (it's one of the safest cities for its size on the west coast of the United States).
