Also the only reason the Military uses it so much is because it is coming from the lowest bidder. Also I know plenty of cops who get issued this EXACT same holster and dont touch it and instead use blackhawk Level 3 Serpas instead.

@deadeye4646 Lowest bidder? Safarilands cost 2x more than a serpa. If the military did go for the lowest bidder then troops would be in cheap chinese gear not the very expensive eagle and crye gear.

i prefer the safariland drop leg tactical series of holster also, however i will not slam the serpa holsters because they also have a useful tactical use as well.. and i havent had any issues with my serpa's but i own a safariland drop leg 6004 for my Glock 21)sf) with the light as u mentioned. and it excellent..

@GVMeNProDucTionS uuummm... yes and no. Actually no & no the Military uses what I'm guessing was the lowest bidder at the time for the holster. Also, the millitary uses some of the best gear because they are not going to give shitty gear to soldiers but they do tests on gear and then go for the lowest bidder just sayin. and when is your finished kit coming up?

Standard rank and file soldiers get the POS flap holster. Alot of soldiers get issued Safariland, talk to your unit CO, he can put in a request for them

i got an hk usp .45 tactical, with the raised sights, do they make one for my pistol?

@GVMeNProDucTionS the troops don't get safariland holsters. We get POS holster that are basically just fabric holding the pistol. I'm here to decide if I should buy a safariland for my deployment.

btw, blackhawk serpas have 1 serious weakness in a sandy environment, sand and dirt can fuck up the snap so it won't operate properly.

@locosway i play airsoft and shoot firearms. Airsoft is harder than you may think. We get pretty battered and banged up while playing.You still need well made gear to be able to be effective in airsoft. Even though airsoft doesn't involve firearms, us airsofters aren't stupid. We know good gear when we see it. There is nothing wrong with SERPAs, even though he was raging it, he has a right to say that. It's his personal opinion. Who knows, he may have owned one in the past...
