Hi there, I too have a unit like this " Americana II "
I have asked all the experts and tooled with this thing for weeks now... When I make a selection it engages the number solenoid, moves the number selection arm forward, hits the 2 switches there and then disenages the number solenoid, but it never fires any of the letter solenoids... I have stripped the entire selector assembly down and back together again about 50 times, any clue as to why the numbers would fire and not the letters?

Looks great! I knew you'd getting running. And you will stay up day and night until it's perfect. LOL! Congrats. See what happens when you get bit by the jukebox bug?
hi my name is andi i have the exact same model i've had the amp redone as it was in mono and also the junction box recaped.but when you make a selection from the button bank the buttons hold in and thats it. i used to flick the pins underneath and it would play but for some reason its stopped.its also missing a nylon bolt at the back of the tone arm which helps to place tone arm on record.cant get hold of 1. any idea most welocome. andi

@hornybikerboi under the keybaord there is a solenoid and some armatures that come from it. If the solenoid is blown the keys wont release, also if the spring it broken or missing, As for the tone arm, I have an americana for spare parts id sell for 300. But you could check online there are lots of jukebox vendors with used parts. Many of the wurli mechanisms are similar
