Critiquing the Critics: "SomecallmeJohnny (The Super Gaming Bros.)" review.

The Creepy Bald Guy takes on some brothers.

The review turned out okay, although I was miserable throughout writing/filming/editing it. Yesterday was....not a very happy day for me. In fact, I kind of sound pissed off during the first part.

Some interesting notes: The comparison to HVGN and Acornfilms(cinema) seems kind of random. Originally, there was an earlier comparison(right after I say "Critiquing at its finest", I recorded audio saying "rivaling guys like *HVGN and AC* who have similar styles).

When I read from the script, ironically, the last part(starting with While I believe in scripting) was not scripted.

I originally was going to explain the comparisons to AVGN, NC and IG. In fact, I considered putting the clip of IG's that reminded me of the comparison clip but lacked time. Keep in mind, I said 'possibly' and 'derived'. I dont think Johnny is a rip-off.

The "Some" gag was harder to pull off than I realized.....

This guy isn't far from a rating improvement either. I was torn as to what rating I should give him, but felt his rushed lines kept him from being as good as HVGN or AC.
