I think this camera does what it promises. If you want faster performance as one person said, use a faster memory card, or use a DSLR. Still nothing faster than that. Like say a Canon 7D, and so on. Point and shoots aren't the last word in fast. Don't care whose it is. This camera isn't perfect, but you can do a whole lot worse. Try a Casio lately??

The video was ok - but the camera is GREAT! For it's size and price, you can't beat it. The 10X zoom and wide angle lens gives you a lot of flexibility for shot composure - the (multiple) face recognition also helps in making your impromptu group photos look their best. The only thing that kind of bothers me is that the flash is a little small - but you can be a little closer to your subject and still get everything into frame with the wider angle.

It's a piece of garbage. The person probably don't even use the camera for real trip shot. This shit is exactly the same as many camera out there, the images is painfully slow when store direct into memory card. By the time it done, the thing you wanna capture, gone.
