Hellow Dave, I am from Hong Kong and have just acquired one of your excellent j M-422a jacket. Very good quality indeed.
Two suggestions for your consideration from a customer keen to see an even more authentic jacket from G&B:
(a) use a replica WWII Talon zipper instead of a YKK.
(b) The jacket is big for its labelled size - consider downsizing by a factor of 2 (i.e. lable you 40 as 42).

Hi Auxair, I don't mind at all; we always welcome customers comments and weigh them carefully. Size-wise, we get that from the official Navy drawings (G-1s) so it ties us up there, and we did consider the use of repro Talons. We opted to stay with YKK (it would keep the cost of the jacket down quite a bit), We do have a size exchange option open on new products that we would be glad to take care of if it is not a custom order.
