A collection of Mars-related images inspired by the Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson. Music by Biosphere (The Seal and the Hydrophone).
I couldn't find ANY art directly related to the books, despite the fantastic artwork on the covers :-(
Sorry about the quality. I have a really high quality version, but the file is much to large for Youtube.
Utterly stupid to call it racist towards Arabs. In fact, they are a large part of John Boone's inspiration for the Areophany. Keep reading...

It is not racist against Arabs, and if it were, you should read it anyway. If anything, his books are somewhat anti-Christian.

I'm 20 pages into red mars and it seems really racist against Arabs
Should I continue reading?

@NixonAddict Well...I thought each book deserved more than 2 hours each as a movie. I could really get into a cartoon adaptation with several episodes for each book. like the robotech series from the eighties.

I've recently just finished reading the final book, and am still convinced if given a large enough budget the whole trilogy would make an awesome movie.

My dream is that HBO takes a hold of this - not filmable as a movie but as HBO 'Event' tv it could be very special.

And thankfully Kim Stanley Robinson is a communist, believes in libertarian socialism.

Yep, there is no art work, because the trilogy hasn't been taken up in the entertainment industry yet. When I red Blue Mars in 2001, I thought this is obviously going to be filmatized. It is the best science fiction work on Mars!!

I just started the Red Mars Trilogy. Only Astronomy could get me to read a novel this chunky.
