I'm taking some time to dialogue with on the 'cutting edge' here - (that's an audacious name) sort of like the tv show 20/20 who pretends to 'see the truth clearly' with 20/20 vision.

It's a good example of 'scientism' dogmatism in my view. Readers decide for yourself. I am not telling you you need to believe anything (period!)

@onthecuttingedge2005 in your belief system and idea-ology. Imagination, and the creative side brings the 'new ideas' to the world - logic simply observes after the fact and tries to describe it or 'conclude' what's going on. I don't like a 'concluded' existance, I enjoy new things...and girls seem to like 'creativity' alot better than 'logic'.

@onthecuttingedge2005 Logic alone does not 'verify' things. Observation, experimentation are necessary imo. The problem arises with 'observation' since what we see is partially influenced by what we believe! This fact science must learn to deal with. And if the observed is affected by the observer that (logically) implies that whatever is 'observing' must be more fundamental than what is being observed. The physical world comes after, is at effect of that part of us that is observing.

@onthecuttingedge2005 I respect your search for 'truth'. In your above statement you have preconceived notions of 'God'. What if you had a clean slate? what would that look like? I agree that multiverse is more accurate than Uni verse. But that's also a matter of definition and perspective i.e. the Universe could be what contains the multiple universes. An A theist is then a priori against an idea of a God yes? What about being an agnostic, 'I don't know....yet'. Or do you claim you 'know' all?

you sound an awful lot like a 'logic - scientism' fundamentalist to me! 'the logical side of the brain is the only side which contains truthful facts.' hmmm? sound pretty dogmatic and self assured about 'we are the only right way'. Just replace logic with Jesus, Allah, etc in your statement and there you are - a 'science fundamentalist'

@onthecuttingedge2005 if you are proselytizing 'fundamental scientism / logic. You are on the same level as fanatical 'nut job' religionists. Which like I said before is why likely they trigger you and you projected that onto me - (basic psychological 'projection') I am not a fundamental religionist, but a real experimenter on what is, without shutting the doors i.e. being prejudices, pre judgin on energies that our current model of science has no clue about.

@onthecuttingedge2005 I agree fundamentalism and 'blind belief' is a big problem on this planet. And that type of spirituality could 'doom the world into exctinction' But so could blind scientism, i.e. obviously with weapons of mass desctruction invented through clever 'scientims' I suggest that all are needed - the creative, logical, and MORE, spirit (essence, soul call it what you will) are necessary. The Consciousness is more fundamental than the physical world. If you don't 'believe' that then you cannot see it or experience it. The Mind has the amazing ability to censor that which does not fit in it's current belief system. So when you dogmatically

You sound like the crowd that was standing on the shore and laughing at Fulton as he was showing the steam engine. Or Marconi's friends who wanted to have him checked for mental instability when he said that he could send information 'through the air' (Radio)...you are doing the same thing today to those who have ideas beyond your ability to understand, or scare you
