Yeah definitely try tepid water and make sure you clean away any excess nail polish out of the water before you remove the nail :)

Your nail polish might be clumping if the water is too cold.

you should pread the nail polish alll over across the diameter then wait a little bit , then put it in slowly to avoid bubbles

Thanks ^_^. For some reason some of my polishes would not spread out they stayed in a clump it was weird hmm =/

try going slow and when you put the nail in the water leave it in there for about five min.

lol! its not horrible! u should have seen mine.. i dunno what i did wrong, maybe my nail polish isnt good, it didnt spread good in the water! not helpful i know! :)) anyway thanks 4 sharing!

Yeah I realized it was the nail polish I tried using. The best kind to use is probally NYC. But yeah I had the same problem, it wouldnt spread and it got too thick and ran over the nail polish. Well practice makes perfect ^_^
