  • some bible verses tell slaves to be good to their masters. other bible verses encourage parents to hit their children.

  • @dan91709 The bible never said that africans came from Canaan and most arabs are descended from Ishmael

  • @314violin An finally, here is the ultimate example of moral teaching from the bible:

Exodus 21:20-21 "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property."

  • @314violin 1 Peter 2:18 "Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh."

Colossians 3:22 "Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord."

  • @314violin Matthew 10:24 "A student is not greater than the teacher. A slave is not greater than the master."

  • @314violin Galatians 4:28-31 "Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? 'Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son.' Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman."

  • @314violin I really don't have time to conduct a bible study for for a filthy liar.

Suffice that Canaan, son of Ham, and grandson of Noah, was "cursed" by Noah (Jewish and Christian traditions assigned the curse to Ham) making him the father of all African and dark-skinned Middle Eastern peoples; thereafter justifying slavery and sub-human status for them.

Your denial of racism and slavery in the bible is either ignorant or deliberate, but in either case pathetic.

    Again, Darwin was no racist.

  • @dan91709 That really isn't racism read the rest of the gospel it says that the great comission for christians is to go preach around the world. And actually read what I typed, I said THE DESCENT OF MAN and the thing is there is only one race, the human race

  • @314violin Nonsense. The bible is rife with racism. Don't you recall Jesus saying that Jews were the chosen, but that others could have scraps that fall from the table? What about the old testament? Are you kidding? God killed people with pestilences because David didn't commit genocide as god "commanded."

As to Darwin, it would be best for you to READ Origin of the Species before spreading false witness. You not only make yourself look silly, as a liar, you're sinning against the holy spirit.

  • @dan91709 In 1st corinthians it tells u about love. The bible never told u to hate ur neighbor as urself it told u to hate sin which makes sense. Darwin was racist one look at some parts of Descent of Man. Read 1st peter 3:15 and see how christians are supposed to teach.
