I don't thing you understood how the tempo is suposed to go. It's suposed to be sad and slow, and then when he comes back to life its suposed to be happy and fast.

I think you did it wonderfully. I picked up my cat today and suddenly I was transported back to my music class in school. We did this song weekly with various instruments. Loved it.
