Timi Yuro was another who could sing with so much emotion - a tear in her voice . They covered a lot of the same songs .

Connie Francis - her near-crying voice is unmatched, and you could cut paper with those cheekbones !
She was so startlingly attractive, you could either have a heart-attack or get arrested for staring too long.
Whoever crafted her features certainly got the DNA perfectly aligned !!!!!!!

She's unmatched. There has never been a voice like this in pop history.

And my 'thumbs up' makes it 319 positive ratings! Connie Francis could sing anything, and this is a wonderful example of her Country style. People who prefer the 'Country' music of today should really take a listen to some of these classics, as sung here by two legendary vocalists.

@beastyclarke Lucky indeed! I spent six months in Saudi in the late sixties with just a tape (not cassette) player and tapes filled with Connie, the Everlys, Roy orbison, Elvis etc and even some 40's stuff of Hank Williams sr. Kept me alive during some long lonely nights...
