Thank you for posting this!

Can you adjust image color parameters in movie mode? Can you shoot in black and white straight from the camera?
-
How to focus in video mode?
-
just update the firmware and issues get fixed.
Also an advice from a Pentax Tech support technician that I contacted before buying this cam was to use batteries from 1600 mAh or more ONLY, I purchased a 1700 mAh sony and they are working great. Great camera.

@thus69r No... I brought it and it works just fine. Still using the first set of batteries... :-) And already filmed 40 minutes.
-
@thus69r the firmware update fixed most problems, and that was only with a certain type of rechargables

Someone had a question about using a video monitor and I accidentally removed the comment. Check out the Vimeo group for the K-x. There is a ton of great info over there.

I personally don't see a difference either, although at full screen on a large 30"+ monitor you might see it.

I would like to buy it too!
I would ask u what do u see inside the pentamirror, both when u take a picture and make a video.
thanks!

When shooting video my experience is that you have access only to the Live View LCD. The viewfinder blacks out completely. Not sure why. This is using the kit 18-55 and an older 55-80.

thanks for the reply, but could you tell me please what do you see inside the pentamirror when you take a single picture (in 'normal' camera mode i mean)? Thanks

On the bottom edge of the viewfinder below the image there is a small ribbon display with real time info about exposure, aperture, shutter speed, etc. It is definitely a nice feature to have (pretty common) so you don't have to pull back and look at the lcd to check settings.
