Place Calls on Hold - 8x8 6755i IP Phone

To place a call on hold, press the Hold button -- you'll see the light for that line slowly flashing to indicate that the call is on hold. If the call remains on hold for a while and you're not connected on another call, the phone will softly ring once to remind you.

You can have two calls on hold at a time -- to pick up a call that is on hold, simply press the button for that line.
