Yup and sadly, most Americans could care less that it even exists. Why? Because ANYTIME there's a massive problem, they think the government is gonna fix it all like a political "Granny Goodness". Reality? If it erupts, the ENTIRE PLANET might be plunged back into an Ice Age (and no, there won't be any cuddly talking animal characters in this one, just pain, death, and lots of ol' fashioned suffering).

@jabbajaw94565 So why should we worry. What can we actually do-nothing. If it erupts we are all gone, if not immediately then within months or a few short years. As an American I would like us to make sure everyone can read, write, do basic math and have an employable skill. Worrying if we have a mega eruption is not too high on the radar.

There are many possible configurations of the potential caldera eruptions from Yellowstone. The real kicker with Toba is it's latitude, it will tear up on both hemispheres and get right into the direct sun path of the equator. But hey, I don't want to do a direct comparison in real life. Lets hope all of the Mega's stay peaceful till we are at least a level three society.

In fact, Indonesia has the largest concentration of volcanoes and calderas in the world. The largest previous eruption at Yellowstone didn't even reach half the size of the Toba eruption 75000 years ago.

And I live REALLY near that area LoL.

hmm i didnt know there was one there too, theres also a megavolcano underneath yellowstone national park in the US that supposivly has the potential to destroy half the US in 60 days
