Darkangel: Usually having students learn keyboarding and doing research means the teacher isn't confident enough his or her technology skills. I personally hate state reports and never assign them. Get with a group of friends and create something cool at home. Take it in to your teacher and see what his/her reaction is.

Thanks. It's a good example, I think, of how students can use technology is different ways than just word processing, spreadsheets and researching state reports on the web. And a lot more interesting.
