@Hynee nah i don't think it is. The cricket warning is more of a "chirp chirp"

@vsbfbmusic The FMC is programmed for a certain rotation,f.ex from Frankfurt to London. The computer knows when it's time to sink, and therefore will not interfere with the pilot. For the WS,there are very performant radars on board, wich detects it. Hope this helped.

Is that the infamous cricket sound at 0:44?

"TOO LOW TERRAIN", "TERRAIN" "PULL UP" *PULLS UP* WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WHEN DO I STOP? "TOO HIGH TERRAIN" WHAT THE *BANG*

I always wonder how the GPWS can differ between controlled sinking (e.g. during landing) and wrong/dangerous sinking. why for example does it not say "terrain terrain" when the plane is close to the ground before landing?
and another question (although the sound is not heard here), but how can the EGPWS detect windshear? what sensors are used for that?

@Natbilltv Even more so because they're usually heard in the background of CVRs after planes crash...
