  • true,GG were way ahead in terms of their musical skills, compositions, arrangments. they are more sophisticated than Yes, Genesis and King Crimson. Their music will be stydied and enjoyed for many years to come. thanks for posting

  • That only one who clicked "dislike" probably should now be listening to something like Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga...

  • Saw them play at the old Boston Garden in the 70's (don't remember the exact year). There were 3 bands on the bill that night, Peter Frampton, Gentle Giant and...(wait for it) ...STPPENWOLF!

Had to sit through Framptom but was able to walk out on Steppenwolf...whoever but that show together had no idea what the *&%! they were doing.

  • I was raised on these guys and I love them just as much 24 years later. Classic.

  • @Brollyhero93TOP10 " Yes" is brighter than KC in terms of sound, KC is more heavy and dark, I agree, besides Fripp was changing his crew several times so KC always had a new sound. GG are very complex in their arrangments but you can see the fabric of their music and they never depressed me with their sound

  • @boriserosh

It's all good. Prog is always amazing, but bands like "King Crimson" is just different, because they are more experimental and dark, rather than "Gentle Giant". "Genesis" is actually quite sophisticated, such as "Gentle Giant". "Yes" is the same as "King Crimson"... :)

  • @Josher1959 nooooooooooooooooooooooo 1 dislike :(

  • Personne n'a passer juste près, de les imiter.

Un groupe définitivement en avant de son temps.

    Grandiose.

  • I listened to these guys for a while in the 70's and then kind of forgot about them. Then I rediscovered them in the last 10 years or so,and basically regretted that I left them behind.Never got to see them live. They played in Denver about 3 years before I moved here.Their overall body of work to me surpasses everyone for creativity and chops. In a Glass House is my favorite, but essentially their first 6 or 7 albums are all worth owning.

  • Too thin? Wow,I totally disagree. These guys were the best of their time.

  • Thank God for the '70's, LSD, Jazzrock and them Brits that sailed in them......

The Third Ear Band were the best,but.....
