This is my third time trying to record this video. Thankfully it finally worked out. I suggest you start out with your hair in a bun. Your hair doesn't have to be as fuzzy as mine was. This works well on smooth hair too :o)

Here's the link to Virtuousjewel's picture tutorial http://public.fotki.com/virtuousjewel/beginning-of-better/headwrap-tutorial/

Scarf measurements: 20.5 x 82 inches (excluding the fringes)

  • Where did you get your wrap from?

  • @niacimone0128 I got this one from Target about a year ago. they have lots of cute scarves.

  • Thank you for this video! I'm looking for some ways to protect my hair during the winter and this is really helpful. I was just wondering. How long/big does the scarf have to be? Is there a specific size?

  • @BabyGirlGoddess I don't think there's really a perfect size. The type of material can have a big impact on the final look. For instance, the scarf I used in this video was actually a little heavy for me once I had finished wrapping my hair. I have other scarfs that I wear in the summer that are lighter that I like better because they don't weigh my head down so much. I would experiment with different scarves, find one that suits your needs and buy material similar to that one.

  • This is my millionth time tryna watch this video and I'm glad I never gave up!!! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for and you demonstrated it beautifully and easily with a lovely smile!! *SUBSCRIBED* Makeup looked amazing...If possible, please do a tutorial!

Stay sweet, chica and keep uploading videos for us "Hooked on YouTubers"...lol.

    ★★★Much love from Antigua★★★

  • @mystiquelady33 You are so welcome. I'm really glad you were able to get something from this video. I had been trying for a while to learn to wrap my hair in a simple fashion and I stumbled upon a fotki tutorial. I learn well from pictures, but I thought others might benefit from a video demonstration. Enjoy your wraps :o)
