CBC Sunday Report - Hangover Helper

This may be my favorite clip of me on tv. It is quite long, as it was on CBC Sunday Report as a featured story. I'm a huge Canadian music fan, so being in the same clip as Measha Brueggergosman , Sean Cullen and Gordie Johnson was a thrill. The producers said they had a difficult time finding celebrities who would talk on camera about hangovers, so kudos to the folks that did, especially Measha for making opera less stuffy. She looks absolutely stunning, doesn't she?

Behind the scenes insider trivia note: because we have a mutual friend, roughly 7 years ago Gordie once bought me a drink! I think that makes the juxtaposition of our interviews kinda funny, especially the 'hair of the dog' conversation. We haven't actually got druink together, but I think we had both been drinking for a few hours when I ran into him behind The Continental Room (a bar and music venue) in Austin on the last night of SXSW. My friends and I were finally being let in the back door for the Alejandro Escovedo gig (Best. Show. EVER), and Gordie was there with my teen idol Charlie Sexton!! I asked Gordie to take my picture with Charlie and he did. And yes, Charlie looks even hotter now than 1985, and a very genuinely nice guy!
