Great music out of Toronto. Thanks

oops missed that they were already posted, thanks for posting this clearer version of the song. I think the vocal group Perpetuum Jazzile would do a fantastic version of Sun Goes By. I wrote them today. You should see what they do with Toto's Rosanna & Africa!

From Steve Kennedy's wife, Carole Warren:
Brenda Hoffert forwarded your request for the lyrics to Sun Goes By. How nice. We've been getting a lot of requests for them lately...ironically it's an anti-war song. Could that be why, I wonder? By the way, I'm married to Steve and since he still resists computer technology I handle most of these requests. Hope it helps.
Here goes: best, Carole

Sun Goes By , Cannon's fly up against the sky.
Moon up high, Banners ride Cancer 'cross Eli
Hear a cry - Scenes of life reflected in the eye.
Orion ride -Picture me a pencil-image lie.
When will evenin' (Blessed evenin')
Come into our lives.
I have fond memories of being a little boy being rushed to school by his mommy, often with this song in the background on good ol' (literally) CHFI 98.1 FM. This song has such a positivity and energy in it brought forth by all the artists; a trait which is lacking badly with today's (ahem) pop music. Thanks for the upload, sir!

Such a fantastic song! I have been looking for music like this for such a long time! Can you reccommend anything else that is similar? I've found "A Beautiful Morning" by the Rascals and "Downtown" by Petula Clark. Anything else? Anyone!! :D Thanks!!!!

@bobbymackinnon I suggest you check out the 1967 album by the band Love, called "Forever Changes."
