If cold fusion has no basis in reality, why is the Russian military researching cold fusion? They're not known for their idle walks in the park.

@starmanskye Ok man, don't go hulk on me...

I was just asking since there are many people that say that it is something bogus and more so, the labs that made the same experiment didn't get the same amount of energy output that the doctors Rossi and Focardi nave had! So that being said, it may very well be a real thing just that we can't use it to get energy from it... The Tesla method which refers to harnessing the energy from the ionosphere would be a bit more tangible...

@VikingNightmare -- "The real deal"? You mean that this talk actually happened, or that the experiment has been duplicated by 20-some labs? At some point we make a judgement call that corroboration is the validity of our consensual reality re: current events, extended to academic conclaves. "Cold Fusion" is a demonstrated phenomenon, albeit NOT understood. This is STILL new ground.

@fddiono You make some assumptions that are incorrect dear sir, actually, there are many technologies that are representing the "free energy" concept... I just asked why would someone think that this is the real deal, wake up, study a bit and see that there are many false prophets... i am not closed minded just that i like to look behind the curtain!!!Look at Tesla's work and you will see some well documented free energy concepts You are so quick to judge people, look at yourself first...

@VikingNightmare <- Your state of mind is the exact reason why people in this world are still using the same technology of gas fueled cars that was developed in the early 1800s, and continue to slowly destroy the world we live in. Your state of mind is the reason why we're paying sky high prices for gas when we don't need to because people tend hold on to the insecurities that come with change. So , turn the question around to the people who are controlling our lives already while getting rich.

I don't have advanced knowledge in cold fusion nor in physics but what makes you think this is actually the real deal? They could be saying whatever they want to the mere mortal and we could not understand it. I would be happy of such a solution but what is our guarantee that this is real?
