  • Great!! Goin to film at Belgrade?

  • @jamonco1 Sorry... nope.

  • interesting that he uses a high hikite. i wonder why?

  • @asd748wsx Shorter distance between chamber and extended arm? = Faster?

  • @KARATEbyJesse Lol just saw that this had already been answered. And I think it's just a subconscious thing when you try to be real fast. :)

  • @multiplecocco I am from Romania (i'm in SKDUN federation) . Yes , very powerful on his hips indeed. He would be an awsome karateka if he would have more spirit. I see only dedication for The Sport Shotokan , not Spirit, Mind , Body of Shotokan.

  • The JKA grades kata on a ten element grading system. In 1654 when an Okinawan karate disciple wanted to remember applications he saw or envisioned and developed his own kata, do you think he cared about a grading system? I think he viewed the kata on whether the techniques were executed like a fight or not. Martial arts are systems of combat skills and karate is a martial art. Did you ever wonder where all this tournament junk came from? Ever wonder if it was not karate at all?

  • I'm beginning to dislike his "patterns" more and more these days...idk why but he seems so...monotonous in terms of bujutsu

  • I can't see this as a first place performance.

  • @anouni1713 WHen the hips are on it should be poised at the side of the body (under shoulder) when hips are off the elbows should be in line, if your fist was in line with your spine it would make your shoulder unnecessarily tense

  • @anouni1713 ..you right , that's what it's should be.

  • its all become a dance people cutting stances and techniques to look gracefull for modern compitions another 20 yrs itll be a hybrid people just cant see it aprofessional dancer could copy and perform a kata in a month to high standard does that make him a fighter NO!!!!!!

  • I have a problem with his hikite. shouldn't it be pulled back a little bit more? shouldn't it be aligned to the spine? sorry, that's what my sensei taught me.

  • こぎゃん早か慈恩初めっ見た。

  • i see that everyone here is 10th dan grandmaster of karate from Okinawa. And this makes me sad...

  • Very very good! You are very fast!
