A fabulous documentary about the excitement of sweets in the golden days of cinema through the beginning of television. The shop was revitalized by the owner who remembers the days of bagged candies. A bravo to the director and producers of this docu-film.

I think it would have been very helpful if you had your subjects narrate over their childhood photos. That would have really made this pop! The stop motion black and white camera with sweets was wasted film. Just imagine how photos of the folks talking would have really brought home the sight of "Sweet Memories". I'd redo it.

I appreciate that you don't take offense. I guess the proper description would be? Taping? Recording? I've come to accept filming as a generic term, I suppose wasted pixels might have been more accurate? Sincerely, what was "charming" about the camera and the black and white chunks that rallied around it? What did it have to do, "symbolically" with the subject? I ask this in all sincerity. I don't see the connection. I love your subject and the experiences were very nice.

Very well done, i loved how you made it look grainy during the stop motion points, and the stop motion in general was a great touch (i am a animation freak x3) It was very interesting, and i liked it ^^,

The 'chunks' were sweets they were talking about.The stop motion parts and the old props were simply used as a tool to help transport the film in to the past along side the memory that was being said.I've honestly not come across anyone who has disliked the use of the stop motion beside yourself.I am always open to peoples thoughts on my films hence why I post them on youtube and your thoughts as well as others will be taken into consideration. I appreciate you saying what you liked.

I respectfully disagree I believe still photos would be boring and lack life, while the combination of the people talking and the charming stop motion really gives it a special charm. None the less thankyou for your thoughts on the matter.

I should also point out that we didn't use film, its all digital, film costs far to much money to use.
