  • Yeah this muffler actually plugged up on me and I had to cut it apart and behold there was a catalytic converter inside of it, removed it and welded it back together and improved performance tremendously.

  • I have a STINGER, very similar to yours, and suddenly it has lost power. All gas lines are good, carb is good, compression 120 and think I may need the CPI box. Do you know how to check it, the spark seems good but I have lost power. Engine revs up when clutch disengaged but staggers when clutch is engaged.

I sure need help and really miss roaring up and down the road on the thing.

Jim Winslow JimWins@homesc.com in SC. and it is HOT down here!

  • @jimwins2 I had some problems, once the float in the carb sank because it is plastic and hollow and they didn't use very god glue and it caused the engine to run very rich and plugged the muffler, spark is either on or off normally. Had to cut the muffler apart and clean it out to correct problem. There is actually a cadailtic converter in that muffler that I removed and made all the difference in the world.

  • hey im thinking about getting a motor for my bike i was just wondering how many cc's is it and have you ever been pulled over by a cop?

  • @TheWallace777 Actual cc's are 66 but for legal purposes I say 49, never been stopped by a cop.

  • you got a DUI haha

  • @alexsuchapimp Dude no DUI just clean fun and good fuel mileage, maybe you talk from experience?

  • @TheWallace777 i got the 66cc bored over to 80 with high performance carb. took off the cap of the muffler and tons of power and no cops. just a bunch of thumbs up. mine looks like the first harleys. but more like a bobber harley. its the coolest one iv seen. there are custom parts for these bike but forget the website. was kind of hard to find.billet head, high performance ignition, mufflers that gain .5 h.p. and the baddest carb. they are normaly 3 times as much for the parts but worht it.

  • @jimwins2 maybe plug? u running a filter to the carb? i had the same problem and changed the plug and went with a high performance carb. took the cap off of the muffler and gain alot of power. take off was much faster as well. im going to pollish my head next.

  • @tcflyer2000 I use mine as my daily driver, as you said, great gas mileage

  • sweet ride man.I have an OP roller with 58cc starfire on a 56 tooth sprocket.

  • you need the "hanglow" chrome muffler. Has removable baffle. I got it on a OP beach cruiser....58cc starfire 44toth sprocket and heavy duty chain.

  • Hey thats city beach... We are neighbors.. Im in Post Falls... You need a boost bottle...

  • im havn trouble poopnb

  • how did you attach the rear sprocket? Also do you have any trouble stopping with just the cruiser brake?

  • I've read a few suggestions about needing front suspension to help dampen the ride or it's too harsh at 25mph and higher. Have you noticed any difference or has your past builds also lacked front suspensions too so you're unable to provide a comparison?
