I requested the City of L.A. put stop signs in our neighborhood to stop the speeders and people cutting through the neighborhood to avoid traffic. They refused and only offered us "speed humps." Take a look and see if you think the city made a good judgement call and we no longer have cars speeding through our neighborhood.

I had the same problem where people were using my neighborhood to bypass traffic going about the same speeds as the people in the video. I have 2 siblings that are deaf, and all the city did was put up deaf child signs about 30 yards in both directions that said "deaf children". When I asked for speed bumps I never got a response so I just made my own. After a week the traffic dwindled to just residents of the neighborhood who offered to reimburse me for the cost of concrete.
