Get real. Dreads existed way before your "Lifestyle" was invented and they popped up in every culture during history. Let people have fun with their hair the way they like. It is only hair after all.

Go and do your research. I am sure you are talking about the Rasta Lifestyle. Dreads existed way before that in every culture on earth. How can hair be a life style? What you do and make out of your life is a life style, not what you wear on your head. What if you would get bald? Would that mean you lose your "life style"?

Because they are brand new and very tight still. Once you wash them, they lie down. It is a sign of good work when they stiff like that right after they got dreaded. Means they are locked tightly
