je ne sais pas, je ne regarde pas sur facebook. en fait je ne sais meme pas quelle version correspond à quel pays XD parce que j'ai acheté les 2 versions sur un site français XD sinon cette version est sur lookiz avec des sous-titres russes si je me souviens bien....

@Reggea4evr Ce n'est pas ce que j'ai dis. Je comprends que des gens aiment autre chose, mais ce que je n'ai pas aimé de ton commentaire, c'est que tu dises "typique opéra laid". Hé bien, je voulais juste te faire comprendre qu'il y a des gens qui aiment ça l'opéra, comme des gens qui aiment n'importe quel autre genre de musique ou de chant. Je trouve la voix du fantôme en français... absolument ridicule. Les versions anglaises, italiennes, et japonaises sont bien mieux !

Ayant lu le livre, je trouve que cette voix ne correspond pas du tout (tout du moins, elle ne correspond pas à mes attentes). On s'attend à une voix masculine imposante, alors que là... On se retrouverait presque avec une voix d'eunuque...

in fact it didn't take me long to listen to the song - 3m23s precisely - and I do have quite a bit of time to spare (especially during my spare time)

anyway suffice to say there's more to singing than just poetry. in poetry the words must sound right, in music they must literally *Sound* right

but I won't "pester" you any longer

Well, regarding your bit about the french language being more of a poetic one than a musical one let's sit and think for a moment, shall we? Songs, or should I say lyrics, are in a way a form of poetry so the language represents it fairly well. Plus the words seem to flow smoothly when sung in French. . . . Now, I'm going to end this here and move on with my night.

@schwarzfalk And as far as it not sounding as good as the original, it doesn't matter what we're talking about here. Whether it be a movie sequel, a remake, or a song, nothing ever compares to the original versions. And personally, an opinion is an opinion. So if you'd rather spend time debating about a song then listen to it, then perhaps you should find someone else to pester. Because, while I may reply to your comment to speak my mind and answer questions, I will not spend hours arguing.

@schwarzfalk Excuse me, I think you don't understand my comment. When "I" say that I think it sounds more beautiful in French, that would be "ME" voicing "MY OPINION." Secondly, I do know the original version very well, and I took French almost every year in school. Plus, I'm taking a voice class at college so I do know a thing or two about singing. Yes, Christine's voice isn't as operatic as you'd want it to be, but no one is perfect. With that said, I still think this version sounds beautiful
