  • How well does it hold temp? do you ever have a big drop in temp when you open the lid? Want one of these soooo bad, saving up week by week and hopefully I'll have one soon.

  • @FOSICKLIKEWHA1 Yes. The temp drops big time. It picks up the temp quickly. In the winter I put a few paving stones in the bottom of the unit which holds the heat better and brings the temp back faster. I take them out in the summer. I have also added a braded fibre glass gasket to the opening. This seems to make a big difference. I got the little tex. Should have got the Tex. Get the bigger unit if yoy can.

  • @saspgmer Have fun. I can tell you honestly that I have not cooked one meal in my kitchen oven in over a year. I use the Traeger as an oven. Im not kidding! Have not used the over in over a year.
