  • Yes that is the idea. If you have a Joan Bar every two hours with a glass of water you will not be hungry. I stopped the peanut butter to cut down on the calories. I also like to microwave the Joan Bar for 16 seconds to make it taste better (not it tastes bad without heating). Remember that the bars have no preservatives and you keep them in the refrigerator until the day you eat them. Thanks for the question.

  • Sounds like a good idea to add the fiber to the recipe.

  • We like to use Lite Sweet Vidalia Onion salad dressing. Make sure that is it a low calorie dressing. This Vidalia onion is just wonderful!

    We will be putting out a video on making the salad on Sunday.

  • I started the plan on 5/22/10 and today is 9/11/10 and I have lost 40 pounds and it has costed me about $35.00 in the cost of making the bars. Compare that to the cost of Medifast and Nutrisystems.

    I have lost 40 pounds since 5/22/10 and today is 9/8/10. Microwave the Joan Bars for 15 seconds then you can spread a little peanut butter if you like . Then have a glass of water and you will not be hungry for the next 2 to 3 hours. Have 3 or 4 of these during the day and have a nice big salad for dinner and you will see the pounds disappear. Let us know how you are doing.

  • ! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with it.

  • @JoanLoganeski if i could make a suggestion and i hope u dont take offence to this. but if i were making the joan bars why not add either two teaspoons or to tablespoon of tasteless metamucil to the bars it would be bonus fiber which would help more with weight loss. im actually suprised since you added protein powder that you didnt add metamucil. i do like the vid and if i had a way to make the bars i probly would but with minor changes like blueberries or strawberries and metamucil. great vid

  • I came here from PriskittaJoe's channel and she was so right - you guys are amazing! I wonder how did you came out with the reciepe? How can I substitute dry milk, because I can't eat it. and can I substitute diet pancake syrup because I won't find it in Poland :)
