Tide Nor Time wait for no man and no man can call life his own.
For thirty odd
years I have sailed all the seas go and search for the Isle Of Aran.
I go to walk a broken road over the hills and valleys go there a robin in a bush
was singing the winters calling.
For thirty years I have worked the land the one my father had to hand with rocks
and dirt and all he´s beasts to me is not worth one farthing.
Once the ocean sprayed a mist and seagulls flying flung over it and now the
seasons change there reins and I´m singing the winters calling.
Tide Nor Time wait for no man and no man can call life his own.
For thirty odd
years I have sailed all the seas go and search for the Isle Of Aran.
For all of you who have lost your way there is a island place to stay, where
rocks and dirt and all it´s beasts are abandoned by it´s owner.
A trick of light through a drop of rain and the last time that you called my
name and fool is he who cannot see the greener hills that call him.
Now I walk a broken road through city lights and city halls, and what I would
give for one more time to hear the robin calling.
Tide Nor Time wait for no man and no man can call life his own. For thirty odd
years I have sailed all the seas go and search for the Isle Of Aran.
Time, like time, like time.
I go to walk a broken road.
